
NEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 2513.31 crore), FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd.(Rs. 1787.89 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1181.73 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1023.81 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1008.36 crore), SBI(Rs. 994.28 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 990.58 crore), RIL(Rs. 976.07 crore), BSE(Rs. 928.55 crore) and Tata Steel(Rs. 868.63 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 293.05 points up at 17469.75, while BSE Sensex rose 1016.03 points to 58649.68.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 3.64 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 3.46 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 3.38 per cent), State Bank of India(up 3.12 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.00 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 0.17 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
