State Open Badminton C'ship : Bidyasagar Salam clinches men's singles title

Imphal, December 05 2021: Bidyasagar Salam won the men's singles title in the 65th State Open Badminton Championship organised by Manipur Badminton Association at its indoor stadium inside DM College Campus.

Imphal West's Bidyasagar got the better of Sirzeet Moirangthem of Imphal East 21-19, 21-16 in the final to claim the top honour today.

Sushanta Moirangthem of Kakching emerged U-15 boys winner as he beat Kasprov Ahanthem of Imphal West 21-12, 21-19 in the final today.

The U-17 boys doubles title went to H Manglem and L Brickson pair who downed H Rohenkumar and Kh Amarjit 17-21, 21-16, 21-18 in an all Bishnupur final clash.

Bishnupur's Priya Konjengbam in the meantime claimed the women's singles title beating Ksh Maheshwari of Imphal East.
