Operator Safaricom has revealed a Christmas campaign named ‘Pokea Uteo Wa Furaha.’
The promotion will run for a month, having gone lie officially on Dec 4.
It will be concluded in January 15, 2022.
Pokea Uteo Wa Furaha’ will see customers enjoy many gifts and offers in Safaricom’s carrier services, as well as M-PESA.
Voice and data
For voice and data customers, users will access tailor-made deals through the [email protected] Offers, which will include 21 minutes and 21 SMS for KES20.
M-PESA
For M-PESA users, they will get up to 20 percent discount when they purchase event tickets, pay for travel such as local flights, SGR train tickets, and bus gift vouchers using the MPESA Mini Apps.
Furthermore, the first 100 customers to pay for a local flight between the 6th and 10th December, through the newly launched Flights Mini App on the M-PESA App, will get their ticket for KES1000.
Fibre for Business
Also, in Jan 2022, businesses and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will enjoy a special offer on our Internet for Business 5Mbps service.
Surprise Visits
Some parts of the country will receive a surprise visit from Safaricom, and their natives will get airtime, food hampers, donation of care packs in hospitals, visits to children’s homes, and lunch drives targeting street families.
Bonga for Christmas
Safaricom will also launch ‘Bonga for Christmas’ where customers will be able to redeem their Bonga Points to pay for essential goods and services across the vast network of Lipa Na M-PESA merchants in supermarkets, cabs, and pharmacies among others.
Treasure Hunt in Google Street View
Lastly, on 22 December, Safaricom will activate Google Street View Treasure Hunt where customers have a chance to win KES 1 million in prizes in airtime, devices, and shopping vouchers.
