Born on December 5, the spearhead of Indian bowling attack Jasprit Bumrah will be celebrating his 28th birthday tomorrow. Known for his fierce toe-crusher to batters in death overs, Bumrah has been exceptional for the Indian team.
Bumrah made its debut for limited over cricket in 2016 for the Indian team after having an exceptional season with his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians. In 2018, Bumrah made his Test debut against South Africa in South Africa and in his first test series he left his mark on the team by taking the most wickets for Men in Blue.
Many cricketers including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jos Buttler have admitted that Bumrah is the most difficult bowler to face and especially in death overs. He has won many matches for the national team and Mumbai Indians by his death over bowling.
Batters find it difficult to hit Bumrah in death overs, but Bumrah himself got bowled by his wife Sanjana Ganesan. Sanjana Ganesan is a model and TV host, and match presenter. Bumrah in an interview said that he met Sanjana during one of the IPL matches and since then they are together.
After dating for almost 2 years, Bumrah and Sanjana tied knots in March 2021. When the entire world was being hit by Covid, Bumrah married Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony.
On many occasions, Bumrah and Sanjana have shared their photos and given couple-goals for youth.
