Imphal, December 04 2021: Lambung YCC had an easy day as both Tampi FC and Khubung Khunou Novokom triumphed on penalties in the 1st PS Ningam, Chamshel & Richard Memorial Cup 2021 on Saturday at Chakpikarong playground.

Dimusing netted a hattrick to propel Lambung YCC to a dominant 3-0 win over K Hnatham.

After both sides ended the first half in a goalless stalemate, Dimusing roared into action in the second half as he broke the 0-0 deadlock in the 50th minute and then struck in his second in the 55th minute before he completed his treble in the 60th minute to help Lambung seal the 3-0 result.

Tampic FC, meanwhile, pulled of a thrilling 8-7 shootout victory over Hringphe YC after the scoring remained 1-1 at fulltime.

In the penalty shootout, Aimhring, Zoddi, Phowihrin, Nohrin, Joyhrin, Marcus, Joy and Bening all made their shots count to give Tampi FC the win.

In the other match decided by penalties, Khubung Khunou Novokom emerged the winners at the expense of WS Lumshel.

In the shootout, Kaniun,Phaval, Viscount and Morest all converted to steer their side to 4-3 win.

Earlier, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
