Ashok Singhal pitches for re-election of Nemcha

Kangpokpi, December 03 2021: State election co-in-charge Ashok Singhal, who is also the minister of Irrigation of Assam, along with Lakhipur AC MLA Kaushik Rai and MLA Nemcha Kipgen on Friday attended a booth level meeting held at Kangpokpi town.
The booth level meeting organised by BJP Kangpokpi Mandalto prepare the party for the 2022 Assembly Election was also attended by BJP state secretaries Bikram Kongkham and Paokam Haokip, Sadar Hills president Thangjamang Kipgen, ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh president Lunjagai Kamei, Kangpokpi Mandal president Tingnei Lhouvum and all booth presidents, Yuva Morcha and party workers of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Singhal exhorted the party workers including booth presidents, Yuva Morcha, ST Morcha, and others to work sincerely and with dedication to ensure a comfortable win for the party's candidate in the upcoming assembly election.
He also interacted with party leaders and workers of Kangpokpi AC and lauded the contribution of local MLA Nemcha Kipgen.
He said Nemcha is the lone woman MLA in Manipur and the people of Kangpokpi AC are fortunate to have a woman representative.
He then commended the party workers and leaders of Kangpokpi AC for their contributions in giving the state a woman representative in the Manipuf Legislative Assembly and urged them to make all efforts, necessary so as to ensure Nemcha's comfortable win as well in the 2022 election.
Meanwhile, Nemcha expressed her gratitude to the visiting state election co-in-charge for his concern for the party particularly in her constituency.
She also motivated the party workers of her constituency to work in unison to win in the election.
The local MLA wrapped a traditional Thadou shawl 'Saipikhup' to the visiting minister and presented a traditional Thadou waistcoat and muffler as well to show gratitude and warm greetings.
