SVEEP campaign marks Day of PwDs

Churachandpur, December 03 2021: District administration, Churachandpur and District Social Welfare Office, Churachandpur along with Centre for Community Initiative (CCI), Samagra Shiksha, Churachandpur District Disable Union, Gospel Ministry for Disabilities India, Mercy Home/FCC observed International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)-2021 at the district level Friday.

The observance cum SVEEP campaign held at DTC hall, Tuibuong was attended by DC Churachandpur Pawan Yadav and DSWO A Tamphasana Chanu as chief guest and chief host respectfully.

In promotion and campaign for Systematic Voter Education Election Participation (SVEEP), a new music video written by CCI director Pauzagin Tonsing and sung by Muan Hangzo and Julie Mawi Gangte was launched by DC Pawan Yadav at the event.

The CCI expressed gratitude to DSWO Tamphasana for her surprise gift (blanket) to around 70 PwDs present at the event.

The observance function was sponsored by Centre for Community Initiative.
