Amanda Grace Jenkins is one of the three leads who are searching for someone special to bring home for the holidays.

Amanda, 33, is a hairstylist and artist from Denver who identifies as a lesbian. She is one of two LGBTQ+ leads this season!

1. I’m the second eldest of seven kids.
2. On a whim I decided to go to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup by myself with only a backpack.
3. I’m known within my family for my iconic horror movie scream.
4. I can’t stand the smell of bananas.
5. I cut hair for 15 years and I can do a mean fade and line up.

6. I accidentally got caught up in a nude bicycle parade in London. But I was fully clothed.
7. I got my passion to learn how to dance salsa from watching Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights when I was 17.
8. When I was 21 I shaved my head for St Baldrick’s Foundation in solidarity for kids with cancer and to raise money for cancer research. I later attended the event again as a volunteer hair stylist to shave heads for those participating.
9. I’m passionate about exploring new foods and I often fantasize about traveling the world, trying foods from different cultures, and sharing my experiences.
10. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I go all out on my costumes. My favorite ones I’ve done are Neytiri from Avatar and Maleficent.
