Tamenglong celebrates Lautai Bantaek Ngai

Tamenglong, December 03 2021: The 4th Kishan Festival (Lautai Bantaek Ngai) 2021 held on the theme 'Every perfect Gift is from God' was celebrated at Namkaolong (Kaikao) village on Friday with NPF Manipur vice president Khangthuanang Panmei, who is also the intending candidate in Tamenglong assembly constituency as the chief guest.

Kishan Festival is a post-harvest event celebrated by the villagers to thank the almighty for his blessings.

Speaking at the event, Khangthuanang Panmei called Upon the villagers to always have faith in the almighty for a prosperous and peaceful life.

While pledging to work for uplift of the marginalised section of the society, the intending candidate said he is taking up handloom, tea plantation, Apple farming, beekeeping, fishery and piggery projects for the farmers.

Further stating that bringing solution to the inter-village land dispute will be another top priority of his, Khangthuanang maintained that Manipur is seeing fewer numbers of bandh, blockade due to the support extended by the NPF to the coalition government.
