The video, which has been viewed 3.8 million times, begins with Paloma sitting up in a chair shortly after her wisdom teeth were removed, with an ice back wrapped around her face.
'Did you even play Taylor Swift during that?' she asks the doctor.
'Absolutely not,' he replies, eliciting a horrified face from Paloma.
'You like Jake Gyllenhaal?' she asks, incredulous.
When he says no — possibly confused about what that has to do with Taylor Swift — Paloma seems slightly mollified, replying: 'OK, good.'
Then, seeming to remember that she is not happy, she turns on him again.
'But you don't like Taylor Swift?' she asks.

'Not really,' he tells her.
'I can't believe I let you perform on me,' a disappointed Paloma says, looking down, earning laughs from those in the room.
When the doctor reaches out a hand and tries to check something, and Paloma's mother tells her to open her mouth, she is ready to dig her heels in.
'No!' she exclaims. 'You don't like Taylor Swift, don't touch me. I cannot believe that. I can play a song for you and you'll like her.'
The doctor tries to insist that he doesn't like country music, and Paloma is quick to correct him that she is not a country musician.
She immediately begins playing the ten-minute version of All Too Well from the new release of Red (Taylor's version), already cued up to halfway through the song. She sings along.

Finally, she scoffs in disgust but lets the doctor put new gauze in her mouth.
Paloma wrote on TikTok that thought she was 'still defending Taylor Swift w/my life after getting my wisdom teeth out,' the doctor 'was really nice and was joking around with me, and this was his only flaw.'
The clip has earned nearly a million likes and plenty of supportive comments and jokes, including one who called it 'wisdom teeth removal (Taylor's Version).'
'This is so funny but he seriously did not pass the vibe check,' wrote another.
'The way she tried to change his mind by singing,' wrote a third, while a fourth commented: 'The way you had her queued up.'
