Overview

Hypertension is the Most common Condition seen in Primary Care. Almost one in every three adults in India is hypertensive.

Globally, an estimated 26% of the world's population has hypertension and the prevalence is expected to increase to 29% by 2025.
In this video, Dr. Deepesh Agarwal explains the Epidemiological link between Quality of sleep, quality of sleep, and Cardiovascular Risk factors like hypertension.
Prevention and treatment of hypertension have a significant contribution in decreasing overall mortality and morbidity rates.

Dr. Deepesh Agarwal MD, DM Cardiology, FACC, FSCAI, is a Prof & Consultant Intervention Cardiologist at MG Hospital Jaipur. He is a specialist in balloon mitral & pulmonary valvuloplasty, ASD PDA closure, Alcohol septal ablation procedure in HOCM pts. He is also involved in teaching postgraduate students, and DM cardiology trainees. Dr. Agarwal is life time member of Cardiology Society of India. He is working as a Clinical & intervention cardiologist since year 2004.
