Brazilian telecom sector warns of problems of equipment theft and vandalism

The Brazilian telecom sector has published an open letter, alerting to the serious problems caused by theft and vandalism of telecom cables and equipment. The sector requests coordinated public security action involving the judiciary, legislative and executive bodies at federal, state and municipal levels, to fight such criminal activity. The letter is signed by Conexis Brasil Digital, Abrint, Brasscom, FebraTel, Associacao Neo, TelComp and TeleBrasil.
