Imphal, December 01 2021: Altogether 30 non-locals were found without valid ILP pass while 68 were found in possession of tokens for ILP application during a drive conducted by the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) in collaboration with the Rising Knowledge Club, Khoyathong in Khoyathong areas today.

Out of 150 non-locals living in the area, only 8 had valid permits, said a statement issued by the JCILPS.

The JCILPS has urged the rent owners of the State to ensure that non-locals living in their rented houses/rooms have valid permit and identity documents and also submit the documents to the office of JCILPS before December 5 .

The JCILPS has been carrying out similiar verifica- tion drives at different pla-ces since some days back.
