Four matches decided in State basketball Championship

Imphal, December 01 2021: Four matches were decided in Wednesday's fixtures of the 24th Senior State Basketball Championship underway at Brahmapur Nahabam basketball Court.

In the men's competition, YC Uripok eased past WAL Club 79-47 as RK Tomthin led the winning side scoring 26 points.

Uripok jumped out to a comfortable 25-9 lead in the first quarter and kept their dominance in the second quarter taking an 18-10 lead.

WAL Club captured the third period 16-9 but Uripok bounced back and wrapped up the victory with a 27-22 fourth-quarter result.

CYLC registered a convincing 68-38 win over Elite Club.

S Langamba shone for CYLC by finishing with 23 points.

Home Coming Club, on the other, defeated St Anthony 67-48 in other men's match.

In the women's match, ESU carved out a 29-21 victory over BSC.
