Norah Jones and Mickey Guyton belt out some festive tunes at the 89th Lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City
The holiday season got off to a festive start on Wednesday, with Norah Jones and Mickey Guyton singing some festive tunes at the 89th Lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City.
The 42-year-old Jones and 38-year-old Guyton performed on stage during the annual ceremony, in Rockefeller Center in the heart of New York City.
Other performers at the annual event were Aleesia Cara and Pentatonix, as New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and Rob Speyer lit the iconic tree.

Jones took to the stage wearing a festive green sweater under a glittering black suit coat with a matching sparkly tie.
The singer had a black hat covering her head with her curly auburn locks flowing from it.
She completed her look with a glittering red black and blue skirt as she belted out tunes on stage.

Guyton opted for a brighter look, taking the stage in a red turtleneck with an ornate red belt.
She also wore a lengthy red coat with a matching red dress with a large slit up the leg while performing on stage.
She accessorized with ornate wavy earrings, red gloves and knee-high red boots for her on-stage look.

Aleesia Cara also took the stage at the annual event, sporting a bright green and black crop top under a black leather trench coat.
She also wore a black beret with red gloves as her curly red locks spilled out from under her hat.
She completed her look with a black skirt and white boots as she belted out a tune.

The group Pentatonix also performed on stage, comprised of Matt Sallee, Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi and Kevin Olusola.
When it came to lighting the tree, Mayor Bill de Blasio and Rob Speyer were joined by Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker.
The tree will be lit daily from 6 AM to midnight, with the tree lit for a full 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Tree: The tree will be lit daily from 6 AM to midnight, with the tree lit for a full 24 hours on Christmas Day
