The University of Cincinnati Bearcats stay at No. 4 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

After completing an undefeated regular season for the second straight year, Cincinnati (12-0, 8-0 American Athletic Conference) stood still in the 13-member CFP selection committee's Top 25 rankings released Tuesday night.

No. 1 Georgia (12-0), No. 2 Michigan (11-1) and No. 3. Alabama (11-1) rounded out the committee's top four.

No. 5 Oklahoma State (11-1) and No. 6 Notre Dame (11-1), which lost 24-13 to Cincinnati on Oct. 2 in South Bend, sit just outside the coveted top four spots.

Ohio State (10-2) plummeted from No. 2 to No. 7 following the Buckeyes' 42-27 loss Saturday at Michigan.

The top four teams in the committee's final rankings will compete in a playoff for a national championship. Those rankings will be released at noon on Sunday, a day after Cincinnati hosts No. 21 Houston (11-1, 8-0) in the AAC championship game at Nippert Stadium.

The defending AAC champion Bearcats will take on the Cougars at 4 p.m. Saturday on ABC.
