Opting to bat, South Africa posted a huge total of 509/7 on the back of centuries from skipper P Malan and Tony de Zorzi. In reply, India too were off to a good start and trailed by 201 runs on Day 4’s play. However, with no play on the final day, the game ended in a draw. Abhimanyu Easwaran was impressive in his 103-run knock, while Priyank Panchal made 96 for India.
With the likes of Deepak Chahar & Ishan Kishan joining the squad, a couple of changes are expected in the playing XI of India. Kishan is likely to don the wicketkeeping gloves while Deepak Chahar can come in place of either A Nagwaswalla, N Saini, or Umran Malik.
