Swavalamban Silai School Teachers' Training concludes

Imphal, November 30 2021: The valedictory function of Swavalamban Silai School Teachers' Training was held today at the office of People's Development Association (PDA) at New Checkon.

The training was organised by PDA under the sponsorship of Usha International and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) .

The valedictory function was graced by Ng Uttam, Director of Social Welfare, Th Biramangol, Chief Executive Officer, PDA, Deputy Manager, Sadhana Sharma and E Surbala, master trainer of Usha International as the presidium members.

Swavalamban Silai School Teachers' Training concludes

The 9 day residential training was attended by 25 female trainees from Imphal West district.

It may be noted that the said training programme has been conducted with the sole objective of empowering women thereby enhancing their economic status.

As a part of the valedictory function, sewing machines were also distributed to the trainees.
