DIC to hire experts to help entrepreneurs & industrialists in MSMEs clinic, Kozhikode

Kozhikode, 30 Nov (KNN) The exclusive Clinic for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is likely to get an expansion of its activities by the District Industries Centre (DIC) ) by getting more field experts from various areas connected to the industrial sector.
The main aim of this initiative is equip entrepreneurs and industrialists with quick and feasible solutions pertaining to technical and field-level issues faced by them in the MSME sector, as published in The Hindu.
On basis of academic qualifications, professional experience and achievements, the selection of the candidate will be done and completed in a month.
The enrolment of experts is open for eight different sectors under the MSME category, said by DIC officials.
Experienced candidates with thorough knowledge in handling fields such as banking, GST, industrial extension, technology, marketing, industrial law, exports and detailed project report preparation can join the clinic.
As of now, there are over 11,000 registered MSME units under the DIC, which are all back on track after the pandemic-induced crisis. These MSME units alone give direct jobs to around 44,000 people in Kozhikode district. With a total investment of over INR 800 crore, all these units are on the path of steady development. The proposal for opening exclusive industrial parks in government and private sectors is also expected to give a boost to the MSME sector in the district.
