Nepal authority revokes Nepal Satellite Telecom licence over missed payment

Nepal's National Telecommunications Authority (NTA) annuled the Basic Telecommunications Services licence of Nepal Satellite Telecom (NST) after the operator missed the payment of one of its regulatory fees, writes The Himalayan Times. The regulator revoked NST's operating licence after the operator failed to adequately explain why it missed a July deadline to pay arrears of NPR 350 million (USD 2.9 million).
