Heartbroken love split lawyer Ellie Aitken has posted a mysterious message on Instagram after losing her funds manager husband to best pal Hollie Nasser.
The high profile couple broke up two weeks ago after 20 years of marriage.
Husband Charlie Aitken, 48, later confirmed he was now in a relationship with Ms Nasser, wife of his investment partner, Chris Nasser.
Just a few weeks before the awkward split, Ms Aitken had posted a gushing birthday message to her friend, telling Ms Nasser she was 'so lucky to have you in my life.'
Now mother of two Ms Aitken, 42, has returned to Instagram with a more poignant message in the agonising wake of her marriage ending.
Posting a barren wintry cartoon sketch, Ellie Aitken's picture shows a lonely figure on a horse with a dog by a river's edge in snow-covered countryside.

A caption on the scene adds: 'One day you'll look back and realise how hard it was, and just how well you did.'
The post appears to pay tribute to Ms Aitken's sister Amber for helping her during the marriage breakdown, despite being separated by Covid border closures.
It adds: 'Sisters are the best. I love you [Amber] and miss you so much. Thanks for this. Please may the border open.'
The post ends with a broken heart emoji.

The split has caused a major fallout for her husband's firm, Aitken Investment Management, with Mr Nasser resigning as a director and ditched wife Ms Aitken stepping down as an executive.
Mr Nasser, a wealthy publican and key investor in Mr Aitken's company, admitted his own marriage break up but remained tight-lipped about it.
'While the affair has greatly impacted me and my children, it is a private matter and I do not wish to go into any detail about it,' he said.
Mr Aitken is believed to have since moved out of the family home and is now living with mother of two Ms Nasser in a serviced apartment in Bondi Junction.
He warned investors he would be taking some time out from the company to deal with a 'personal matter' ahead of the affair becoming public.
He later admitted: 'I can confirm I am separated from Ellie Aitken and am in a relationship with Hollie Nasser.
'My sole focus is my children and I'll make no further comment.'
The relationship has left many shocked as both couples had been friends for years.

Before the split was confirmed, Ms Aitken - a lawyer and at one stage a fashion designer - had shared multiple pictures of her and Ms Nasser, 36, together.
In a post to celebrate Ms Nasser's birthday, she added:
'Happy happy birthday to my beautiful (Hollie). So lucky to have you in my life. Here’s to sharing many more good times together in the years to come.'

Glamorous Ellie Aitken, 42, was the smart and beautiful mergers and acquisitions lawyer turned fashion guru who sparkled in company and turned heads wherever she went.
Charlie Aitken, 48, is the investment genius former stockbroker behind Aitken Investment Management, which attracted big names like Channel Seven's billionaire owner, Kerry Stokes.
Until 2016, they lived in a spectacular $11million mansion in Darling Point before moving to a cottage in Bellevue Hill.
They courted some of the biggest, richest names in Australia, counting Twiggy Forrester and James Packer as well as Mr Stokes as friends.
Ms Aitken was also in high demand on the boards of charities and organisations like Australian Ballet as one of the city's finest networkers and charity fundraisers.

Chris 'CJ' Nasser is a wealthy pub boss who owned Fairfield's Crescent Hotel and is said to have pumped between $5million and $10million into AIM when it launched in 2015.
Newcastle-bred Hollie Alford, 36 - a former medical research associate - married Mr Nasser at a glittering ceremony in St Mary's Cathedral in 2016 before a reception at Quay restaurant.
Together the best friends were feted as leading lights of Sydney's social circuit, regularly photographed at functions and charity events.
They regularly posted snaps of themselves on social media, often in private jets, on red carpets or luxury yachts as they lived the high life.
Until it all started to come undone this year.
In June, Kerry Stokes is said to have pulled out all his investments from Mr Aitken's funds.
Soon after, questions are said to have been raised about the relationship between Mr Aitken and Ms Nasser.
Ms Aitken joined rival investment business Pallas in September, before the marriage splits were confirmed on November 12.
Mr Nasser stood down as a director of AIM the following day and was replaced by his brother, Damian. Ms Aitken also resigned as an executive that day.
Sydney's social glitterati tongues have been wagging about the awkward love split for over a fortnight but it was only confirmed publicly on Friday.
Ms Aitken is now nursing her broken heart alone with her daughter and son at the couple's most recent marital home, reported to be a rental in Bondi.
