'It's not the same': Top Gear fans fume over Freddie Flintoff missing trip to Iceland after he was forced to self-isolate and brand the show 'boring' without him
Top Gear fans took to Twitter on Sunday night to express their anger over Freddie Flintoff having to miss a trip to Iceland.
The former cricketer, 43, was forced to self-isolate over the summer when Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris took the trip to the Nordic country.
At the top of the show, while Paddy, 48, and Chris, 46, were walking through the picturesque landscape, they chatted about Freddie's absence.

Chris said: 'I can't believe that Flintoff's not here - he would love this.'
The voiceover then explained: 'Unfortunately, the day before we travelled, Flintoff had been forced to self-isolate and so couldn't join the trip.'
The show then saw the pair racing their cars - a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Vauxhall Chevette - across the stunning country.
Fans of the show, meanwhile, fumed on social media as they branded the show 'not the same' without Freddie.

One wrote: 'Where's Freddie?? It's just not the same, I miss him,' while another expressed: 'Top Gear without Freddie is really really boring!!!'

Another wrote: 'Not the best show tonihgt... Iceland would have been better with Freddie.'
