109 Bn CRPF organises civic action programme at Senapati

Senapati, November 26 2021: As part of the Civic Action Programme, 109 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector distributed solar lanterns to the villagers of Taphou Phyamai in Senapati district on Friday.
Bal Krishna Ram, Commandant, 109 Bn CRPF handed over 65 solar lanterns to the villagers of Taphou Phyamai in the presence of Dr V Alexander Pao, village headman/ex MLA; Y K Singh, Major 33 AR; Tholu Rocky, MPS, Additional SP (L&O) Senapati; Alex Kophom, AC 109 Bn CRPF and A Visapunii, AC 109 Bn CRPF.
The programme was organised with an aim to connect with the marginalized section of the society, said a release issued by 109 Bn CRPF.
Speaking on the occasion, Bal Krishna Ram stated that it is the need of the hour and primary duty of the CRPF to take care of the public while adding that the continued unabridged support of the locals has helped the CRPF in maintaining peace and stability in the state.
Similarly, 109 Bn CRPF also distributed water storage tanks to the villagers of Liangmai Taphou in Senapati district on Thursday.
Bal Krishna Ram, Commandant, 109 Bn CRPF handed over 25 water storage tanks in the presence of Sh DM Widoubou (V/A Chairman); Sh Thejii, Inspector, SHO, Senapati Police Station; SDSA president/secretary, Alex Kophom and A Visapunii.
