Imphal, November 26 2021: Tamenglong district administration will organise weekly flea market - Tamenglong Recreational Flea Market every Saturday from 5 pm onwards at Apollo Ground, Tamenglong.

A statement issued by Tamenglong SDO Rohit Anand informed that the weekly market will provide an opportunity for the local artisans/entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products.

No fees will be charged from visitors and business owners for the inaugural event of the weekly market.

Those interested business owners, cafe and hotel owners may reach out to the SDO office for opening stalls.

All stall owners must also ensure that their surroundings are cleaned before leaving.

Shop owners have also been advised to arrange all logistics such as tables, chairs and canopy, etc., which are necessary to operate their shops.

Furthermore, any gambling activities, intoxicants and other unwanted activities will not be tolerated inside the market and strict actions will be taken against those found violating the rule, it said.
