1st District Level Special KCC campaign begins

Thoubal, November 26 2021: The Office of the Joint Director, District Veterinary Office Thoubal, Government of Manipur on Friday launched the 1st District Level Special KCC campaign at its office in Mini Secretariat Complex, Thoubal.

The programme was attended by DC Thoubal, Ahanthem Subhash Singh; District Fishery Officer Thoubal, Kh Ibetombi Devi; District Veterinary Office Thoubal Joint Director, Dr Rk Khogendrajit Singh and LDM Thoubal, Thuamjamug Tunglut as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahanthem Subhash Singh stated that the Kisan Credit Card scheme was introduced in August 1998 to provide term loans for agricultural needs to the beneficiaries.

While stressing on the need to cultivate the habit to repay the loans provided under various schemes of the Government, the DC appealed to the public to avail the benefits of KCC scheme to increase their income generation.

It may be mentioned that the three month long campaign would be conducted on every Friday in various parts of the district.
