Kanye West sat courtside with a friend to watch the Lakers face off against the Sacramento Kings at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday night.

As the 44-year-old watched his team lose by a mere four points, he sported an oversized black leather jacket over a matching hoodie and newsboy cap

The outing came just hours after West shared an old photo of him and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian kissing in another bid to win the 41-year-old star back.

While he appeared laser-focused on Friday's game, West also indulged in some chicken strips and fries at his seat with the best view in the arena. 

At one point, he looked a bit weary as he watched the nail-biting basketball match unfold on a night off from his four kids.

Afterward, he delighted fans by stopping for selfies and signing autographs on the street outside the venue as he walked to his car.

West may have felt a weight lifted off his shoulders after having bared his heart to the world in five-minute video titled Thanksgiving Prayer on Thursday.

In the prayer, West voiced regret over allegedly embarrassing his 'good wife' Kardashian, 41, with his failed presidential run in 2020.

He claimed that Kim was particularly bothered by his now infamous South Carolina press conference where he claimed they'd considered aborting their now eight-year-old daughter North. 

'Let's go with politics here. Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, [Kim] wanted to protect me and our family,' said West, famously wore the controversial cap in the years leading up to his own presidential campaign.

West continued: 'I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood's political stance and that was hard for our marriage.

Following the disastrous press conference, Kim spoke on her husband's mental health for the very first time in a post shared to her Instagram account on July 22. 

'As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. 

'I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health,' Kim's statement concluded. 

Seven months later in February 2021, Kim and Kanye announced that they'd be divorcing after nearly seven year marriage. They share daughters North, eight, Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, one.

Despite the fact that Kim has moved on to date comedian Pete Davidson and Kanye was reportedly romancing supermodel Vinetria after breaking things off with Irina Shayk, the Heartless hitmaker has since claimed publicly that he did 'things that were not acceptable as a husband' and 'God brings Kimye together' in a bid to win back his wife. 

Kanye was on hand to give back at the Los Angeles Mission's annual event for the unhoused in Skid Row on Wednesday evening where he revealed a few thoughts on life lately. 

'The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships,' he said. 'We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband. But right now today, for whatever reason — I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I'm here to change the narrative.

'I'm not letting E! write the narrative of my family. I'm not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family,' he added. 'I am the priest of my home.'

'I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I'm out the house, I've got a house right next to the house. I'm doing everything to be right next to the situation,' he said. 

Realizing he was off on a tangent, he said: 'I’m trying to express this in the most sane way, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back home. '

He added: 'If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is ok … but when God brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store.'

The insider told Page Six that West 'had never been there and wanted to see everything going on,' and 'talked about saving the world and how he had all these ideas to work with LA Mission.' 

Kanye also said he saw Kim and their children that day: 'This Thanksgiving is all about restoring the families. Restore Thanksgiving. This morning I felt so blessed to wake up, do a workout, and be able to drive to my house, and see my wife and my kids.
