Mickey Guyton says her son is back at home following his hospitalization over dehydration from a stomach illness: 'He's doing so much better'
Mickey Guyton has had a stressful past few weeks, but it looks like her fortune may be improving.
The country singer, 37, recently told her Twitter followers that her son Grayson was hospitalized because of dehydration caused by a severe stomach illness.
The crooner gave another update on her baby boy in an interview with Today's Al Roker during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade where she performed Thursday.

'He’s doing so much better,' the Love My Hair singer said. 'He’s out [of the hospital]. He’s home with my husband right now. As soon as the parade’s done I’m getting on a flight to be back with him for Thanksgiving.'

She went on to say, 'I’m just thankful for family. I’m thankful for my son. This is my first Thanksgiving as a mom, and that’s just changed my life. So I’m really thankful for that, and family and life.'
Doctors sent Grayson to the ICU earlier this month which Guyton announced in an evening tweet.

A trip to the ICU: Doctors sent Grayson to the ICU earlier this month which Guyton announced in an evening tweet
'I normally don’t do this but my son is being sent to the icu. The doctors don’t know what’s wrong. Please please pray,' wrote the musician.
A couple days later, she shared a much longer update better explaining what had happened to her 9-month-old son.
'Grayson is doing much better, all signs are stable and improving,' she wrote. 'He is still dehydrated and weak and has lost weight from not being able to retain any liquid.'
She also continued to to ask for prayers writing, 'Please please please continue to pray for him.'

Not long after the star updated her followers on Grayson, she took the stage at the American Music Awards.
The 38-year-old singer took to the stage at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles to perform her new song All American.
All American is the second track from her debut album Remember Her Name, which was released in late September.
