Students Induction Programme (SIP) at Lilong Haoreibi College
As per the UGC mandates for making new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment of the higher education in colleges and universities, inculcate in them the ethos and the culture of the institution, help them in building bonds with other students and faculty members, the Lilong Haoreibi College under the initiatives of its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has kicked off from this day the 24th Nov 2021 the Students Induction Programme (SIP).
The programme also called Deeksharambha is organised every year starting from the last academic session 2020-21 for the BA. /BSc. first semester in the aspects of SOCIALISING, ASSOCIATING, GOVERNING and EXPERIENCING (SAGE).
In today's inaugural program, eminent social activists Dr. Dhanabir Laishram interacted with the students and discussed on Socialising and Associating aspects of the Induction Programme. Interacting with eminent personalities is one of the activities for such programmes.
Moodle Master Trainer of Lilong Haoreibi College Md. Musa highlighted the MOODLE learning management system which has already been launched in the college for imparting teaching learning processes during the COVID19 pandemic.
The Director of the College Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Dr Ng Pikeshwor Singh highlighted the Institutional and ethical codes which have been adopted in the college. The college has established IQAC in September 2020 and the college is gearing up for assessment and accreditation under NAAC.
Head of Chemistry Dept. of the College Dr W Binodkumar Singh attended as the Guest of Honour and the Head of the Zoology Dr L Sanahanbi Devi presided over the first day of the Program
