Voting continues peacefully in Dhalai district: Nothing untoward reported so far

Ambassa (Tripura), Nov 25 (UNI) The voting for 15 seated Ambassa Municipal Council continues peacefully as nothing untoward reported so far and the voters continue to cast their mandate in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai.
The polling for high voltage civic bodies' election is going on as was scheduled after much drama and suspense of blame game between BJP and other opposition political parties. And the voters are casting their votes in the festive mood as the people expressed. Till now nothing untoward has happened, reported police. Moreover, no political parties have raised allegations over the proceedings so far. Till 1100 hrs almost 50pc casting has been completed, sources have claimed.
However, the political leaders have denied commenting on the voting process at this early stage.
