Still very early but this may be way worse than Delta from the numbers coming out thus far.
I don't have anything to add that's not in that twitter thread at this point. May want to stock up on things just in case things get crazy again.

Whatever anyone had trouble getting earlier in the pandemic. While I do feel most of the country will not tolerate a lockdown of any sort at this point in time, no matter how bad it gets, I have no idea how this may affect supply chains for various things.
Of course I could be 100% wrong and there may be no supply issues whatsoever. Honestly I put that comment in there just to get responses from people and see if anyone thinks the supply aspect of basic goods could be problematic.

It seems like we already have supply chain issues as is.
My company already mandated everyone get vaccinated or be placed on unpaid leave... at least in my county we have something like a 75% vaccination rate.
Im curious whether the concern for this new variant comes from higher transmissibility or more severe symptoms.
I don't know about most people, but im so... damn... exhausted even hearing about anything related to the numbers, especially when most people (over 50%) are already doing everything we can. They may close down certain business or put more restrictions in place, but at this point many of even the farthest lefties are just burnt out from it all.
I guess I could buy more vitamin D or something... but im not sure what else."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

I've got 10 years worth of ammunition and components. Might sell 700 dollars worth of it and buy another $2000 shotgun again.
