Former TV actress and current Union Minister Smriti Zubin Irani was denied entry at the Kapil Sharma Show. The Women and Child Development Minister was supposed to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show for an upcoming episode. As per reports, there were some misunderstandings, due to which Irani was stopped from entering the set of the Kapil Sharma Show.
The former TV actress is making her comeback on television as a writer of Lal Salaam. Smriti Irani does not like to travel with security and when she reached The Kapil Sharma Show, the private security guard at the set of The Kapil Sharma Show did not allow the Union Minister as the guard was unaware of the arrival of her. Smriti was there to promote her book Lal Salaam which is about a young officer who challenges the corruption in the system and fight against them.
As per reports, the security guard was confused thinking that’s why would a Union Minister reach the set without any security guard, that’s why he did not let her enter the set. Irani waited for almost half an hour outside and then later left as she had a flight to catch. The security guard did not let her enter the set despite the Union Minister trying hard to explain to the guard that she was going to be a guest on the show and is also a Union Minister, he didn’t believe her
