MPhasis(up 1.71 per cent), Mindtree(up 1.24 per cent), Tech Mahindra(up 0.87 per cent), Coforge(up 0.73 per cent) and Infosys(up 0.71 per cent) were among the top gainers.
L&T Technology(down 0.84 per cent) and Wipro(down 0.39 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.52 per cent at 35148.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.35 points at 17413.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 20.86 points at 58361.85.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, Zomato Ltd., PNB and Latent View Analytics Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Sarthak Metals, Bajaj Healthcare, Dhruv Consultancy, Latent View Analytics Ltd. and R Systems Intnl hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Quadpro ITeS Ltd., Colgate-Palmolive and Radha Madhav hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
