
NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, SORIL Infra Resourc(14.58%), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(13.85%), Jindal Hotels(13.34%), Kabra Extrusion(12.04%), Sudal Inds(11.98%), IOB(11.59%), Sarla Perform(10.92%), Diggi Multitrade(10.88%), Star Delta Tran(10.67%) and Central Bank(10.46%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 179.08 points up at 58843.41, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 57.9 points to 17561.25.
In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Ajanta Soya, Kabra Extrusion, Triveni Engg, Dhanlaxmi Fab and SBC Exports hit their fresh 52-week high, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Monotype India, Kansal Fibres, Niraj Cement and Spandana Sphoorty touched their new 52-week low in trade.
