Five more test positive for Covid in Patna

PATNA: The state registered five new Covid cases on Tuesday against 1,80,902 samples tested. All new cases were recorded in Patna district. One more person recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours and active cases in the state stood at 44 on Tuesday.
The state’s overall Covid tally has increased to 7,26,196. However, 7,16,488 people have so far recuperated from the virus and 9,663 succumbed to it in the state so far.
Meanwhile, over 6.79 lakh people were vaccinated till 10pm on Tuesday. So far, over 7.65 crore Covid vaccine doses have been administered in Bihar.
