Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik has levelled several allegations against NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede till date and the latest one is his tweet against the NCB officer's wife Kranti Redkar. Now, Kranti has filed a police complaint against Nawab Malik over his tweet containing screenshots of some unverified Twitter chats involving her name. She also alleged that someone created a fake Twitter account in her name and the politician shared them on his social media handle without verifying the facts. The chats shared by Malik show Redkar promising 'reward' to a Twitter user who claimed to provide her with the 'photo of Nawab Malik and Dawood'. The next screenshot shows the netizen sharing a picture of 'Malik and actor-politician Raj Babbar', claiming that Raj Babbar's wife calls him 'Dawood' out of love. Malik's tweet was shared by many and went viral in no time. However, the NCP leader later shared a tweet and wrote, 'What a Joke, I received this morning. Enjoy... Have a nice day everyone.' Notably, these chats and Kranti's allegations came after the Bombay high court, while hearing a plea filed by Wankhede’s father, refused to restrain Nawab Malik from posting against Sameer Wankhede and his family. However, the court told Malik to make such statements only after 'reasonable verification of facts.' Interestingly, Nawab Malik's tirade against the NCB officer started only after the agency arrested Aryan Khan after the cruise raid. However, Sameer Wankhede's family has alleged that it all began after Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested by the NCB in January this year on charges of trading and consumption of contraband.
