The first of Battlefield 2042's two upcoming updates is scheduled to arrive November 25. Battlefield 2042 Update #2 is substantially smaller than Update #3, slated to arrive early this December, but includes some much-needed immediate nerfs to a handful of vehicles as well as global weapon accuracy buffs.

Outside of those two categories, players can also expect some of Battlefield 2042's more minor bugs to be resolved. The bug that left players unable to respawn after being downed will be fixed, and an issue that sent players back to the menu after queuing for a Battlefield Portal match has been solved. The full list of changes coming in Battlefield 2042's Update #2 can be found below.

Battlefield 2042 Update #2 patch notes

While fixes for some of Battlefield 2042's issues are on the way, it may not be enough for some players. Battlefield 2042's reviews are currently "mostly negative," with many users citing its bugs and a lack of legacy features. Despite its reviews, the game has still found success, with DICE announcing that it has "millions of players" and is already outperforming Battlefield 5.
