Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Steel Cast, Latent View Analytics Ltd., Precision Camshaft, GSS Infotech and Raymond, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 86.8 points up at 17503.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Vertoz Advertising, Madhav Copper and Mas Fin Services, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Power Grid, Coal India Ltd, NTPC and Tata Steel were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, Infosys, Bajaj Auto and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 198.44 points up at 58664.33.

Traders piled up positions in Glass, Mining, Rubber, Electric/Electronics and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
