'The festive bake at Greggs is undefeated,' wrote another.

However, some were disappointed at they weren't able to get the bakes on delivery services, with one person writing they were going to 'cry' as it wasn't available on Just Eat.

Another added that they couldn't find it all in Norwich.

Greggs said that the bake has been 'really, really popular' and 'sold out in some shops' making it unavailable on Just Eat.

'We’re working hard to get this back in our shops as soon as possible,' they added.

The new Bake marks yet another scrumptious addition to the on-the-go retailer's increasingly popular vegan range, following the 2019 debut of the Vegan Sausage Roll, 2020's hearty Vegan Steak Bake and the Vegan Sausage, Bean and CheeZe Melt that took customers by storm this summer.

Hannah Squirrell, Customer Director at Greggs, told FEMAIL: 'The Festive Bake is the latest iconic Greggs Bake to receive a vegan-friendly makeover, and it retains all the classic Christmassy flavours of the original.

'There's nothing better over the festive season than tucking into delicious Christmas food, and we're confident that customers will love our latest tasty Bakes.'

The chain famously launched a vegan sausage roll in January 2019, which saw customers queue for hours and travel from town to town to get their hands of the treat.
