
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:40AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.
Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.45 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 3.18 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.98 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.85 per cent) and DLF(up 1.76 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers(down 0.71 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.54 per cent at 512.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 31.4 points at 17385.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 202.62 points at 58263.27.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Shares of Vedanta, Vodafone Idea, Trident Ltd, YES Bank and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Steel Cast, Latent View Analytics Ltd., Precision Camshaft, Jindal Worldwide and Raymond hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Supreme Infra, Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Laxmi Cotspin and Aarti Drugs hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
