Ludhiana, November 22

Members of the PWD Field and Workshop Workers Union staged a protest at the department’s office on Monday.

They blamed an official for making attempts to lodge a false case against them, instead of accepting their demands. They said false complaints against them were sent to the authorities and sought a probe into works initiated by officials. They said if the issue was not resolved, they would carry out a protest march next month.— TNS
