Fed-up Bunnings customer takes matters into his own hands when there are no staff around to help him out – as he grabs one of the hardware giant’s saws and cuts his own wood in the store

A frustrated Aussie has come up with a very different Bunnings hack: if no one shows up to cut your lumber for you, grab a saw and do it yourself.

The man, who goes by the TikTok handle @faddynoopa, shared a video of himself using tools he borrowed from the shelves at the hardware giant to measure and cut wood when no staff were available.

Customers at Bunnings typically select their wood products from the shelves before staff measure and cut them.

However, when no staff were available @faddynoopa decided to borrow a saw and tape measure from other sections of the store to do the job himself.

He documented his journey through the store to collect the necessary equipment before revealing the finished product.

'I ring the store from the inside and it always works,' wrote one commenter, explaining how they get hold of staff when it's busy.

'Don't know why people phoning get priority but it works every time.'
