I Was Impressed With Critics For Treating Sooryavanshi With Sensibility Says Salman Khan
Superstar Salman Khan says he is impressed with critics for treating Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi with certain sensibility during his interaction with Newshelpline for forthcoming Antim.
Post lockdown, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi was released in cinema halls and turned into a box-office hit.
Critics are never kind to commercial dramas, but with Sooryavanshi they were sensible with their reviews, which has Salman Khan slightly amused. He said, “I was really impressed with the critics this time. I don’t know how long it will last but for the first time I felt that there was certain pathos, a certain amount of sensibility and preciousness, they didn’t go down on the film, and didn’t discourage people from going to theatres”
“At the end of the day, if people didn’t go to theatres and no one made films, what the hell they are going to write about? I hope they continue this path, as bread and butter run on the same path, they don’t go different path” added Salman.
Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Antim stars Salman Khan as a serious cop, which had his fans disappointed as he is known for his style and swagger, but the actor says there is more to come.
He said, “All those elements are there but presented differently. He has style, swag, moves, dialogues and more, those elements are there but it’s different. All the seeti-maar elements are there”
