Clariant CEO says raw material price increases are easing
ZURICH, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Clariant expects its raw materials price bill to be 15% higher in 2021 but is confident it can pass on the increases to its customers, Chief Executive Conrad Keijzer said on Tuesday ahead of the company's investor day.
"In the first half of the year raw materials prices increased significantly because of supply-demand imbalance, and then in Q3 due to energy prices," Keijzer said. "This is easing."
"Next year, we do not see further sequential inflation," he added.
