Vivo has introduced a new Y-series mid-range smartphone Vivo Y76 5G in Malaysia. The phone is almost identical to the Vivo Y76s but with a few differences. The noticeable differences include a processor, front camera, and software experience. This phone comes with Funtouch OS instead of Origin OS.

The Vivo Y76 5G sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) display with a dotted notch. Unfortunately, there is no high refresh rate support here and it is locked at the standard 60Hz. The choice of processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 that adds 5G connectivity to the device. There is a single 8GB of RAM available with 128GB internal storage. It also supports microSD cards for storage expansion.
The dual rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The selfie camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 4,100mAh battery to keep the lights on and is supported by 44W Flash Charge fast charging. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will ship with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11.
As for the pricing, the Vivo Y76 will cost MYR 1,299 (about $310) for the single 8GB/128GB configuration model. It is available for pre-orders and will be sold in Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora color options.
