Opera GX starts Gamer Graveyard to commemorate players who have given up gaming

Gaming browser Opera GX said it is launching the first ever "graveyard in the metaverse" where players can commemorate friends who have given up gaming in favour of other obligations, such as work or family life. In the Opera GX service "Gamer Graveyard", players can create digital tombstones to "roast" their fellow gamers or to "bury" their avatars. Maciej Kocemba, head of Opera GX, said the new platform is "a subtle tool" for people to "tell their friends who went missing on Discord or in a game that they miss them".
