Tata Power share price down 4.16 per cent

Shares of Company Ltd. traded 4.16 per cent up at Rs 227.1 at around 02:12PM (IST) on Monday. The stock had closed at Rs 236.95 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 1286.2 points lower at 58349.81 around the same time.


The scrip has climbed 290.88 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 34.32 per cent during the same period.

The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 269.7 and the 52-week low price at Rs 56.7.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 3,998,231 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 50.14, an EPS value of 4.55 and a price-to-book value of 1.58. In the Nifty50 pack, 6 stocks traded in the green, while 44 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.86 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2021, while foreign institutional investors and mutual funds' ownership stood at 11.06 per cent and 8.3 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 10187.33 crore, up 0.41 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 10145.89 crore and up 20.68 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 8441.6 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 421.51 crore for the latest quarter.
