What Adele wants, Adele gets.

The singer was met with a positive response when she asked Spotify to remove its default shuffle button from albums on their platform.

"Anything for you," Spotify responded to the star's request, according to the BBC.

Taking to social media to celebrate the small victory, Adele wrote: "This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry! We don't create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank you Spotify for listening."

While Spotify users still have the option to listen to albums on shuffle, it is no longer set as the default option on the app.

In a statement, the company said that they were "excited" to roll out the feature, which was "long requested by both users and artists".

A Spotify spokesperson said they were "excited" to be rolling out the feature, which was "long requested by both users and artists".

The request from Adele comes after the singer dropped her long-awaited fourth studio album, 30.
