India Grid Trust's two subsidiaries bid for RE projects in Osmanabad area (1 GW), estimated cost Rs170cr

The company await receipt of Letter of Intent and will release necessary intimation in due course.

India Grid Trust announced that wholly-owned subsidiaries namely  IndiGrid 1 and IndiGrid 2 have participated in the tariff-based competitive bidding to establish “Transmission system for evacuation of power from Renewable (RE) Projects in Osmanabad area (1 GW) in Maharashtra” on build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) basis by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited.

The estimated cost of the project is around Rs170cr.

India Grid Trust said, "Our bid of Rs16.74 Cr Levelized tariff has been noted as L1 during the reverse auction conducted on 18 November 2021. We await receipt of Letter of Intent and will release necessary intimation in due course."

At around 2.10 pm, India Grid Trust was trading at Rs141.11  per piece flat compared to the previous closing on Sensex.

The stock has touched an intraday high and low of Rs143 per piece and Rs139.30 per piece respectively.
