Grenade blast near Army camp in Pathankot, police on alert

PATHANKOT: A grenade blast took place near Triveni Gate in the cantonment area of Pathankot on Monday morning.
According to police sources, motorcycle-borne persons hurled the grenade near the Triveni Gate and sped.
No loss of life or injuries have been reported till now.
Police are probing the CCTV footage of the incident.
"An alert has been sounded at all the checkpoints and naka’s besides security all along the international border with Pakistan had been further strengthened," said police sources.
