Haryana reports 16 new Covid-19 cases, zero deaths

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Sunday reported 16 new cases, 8 recoveries during the day. No death was reported while nine districts managed to retain the Covid free tag.
On Vaccination front, 60,563 were given the vaccine jabs during the day. 22,993 were given the first dose while 37,570 were given the second dose. The cumulative vaccination coverage of the state has reached 27.56,0970.
While on Covid front, Gurugram reported highest nine cases followed by four cases in Panchkula, two cases in Fatehabad and one case from Faridabad. The cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 77,15,44 cases, 76,13,51 recoveries, 10,053 deaths and 117 active cases.
Notably, till Sunday, with the cumulative count of 18254160 persons being given first dose, total 89% of the targeted population has been given the vaccine jab so far. And total 9306810 are given second dose which forms to be 45% of targeted population.
